Why Wood

Nature’s Material. Our Choice.

Wood brings something extraordinary to the bathroom — natural character, warmth and individuality.

Its grain is not printed, replicated or manufactured. It has been formed by nature over time, creating patterns and variations that make every finished piece unique.

Naturally One of One.

No two sections of wood share exactly the same grain, tone or markings. Each Backwaters piece carries its own natural signature.

Why Teak?

We choose mature teak heartwood for its exceptional combination of strength, longevity and natural beauty. Its naturally occurring oils contribute to its resistance to moisture, decay and insects, while its inherent resilience makes it particularly suited to demanding environments.
